Many parents contact us knowing that they need help installing baby gates or other childproofing products and don't want to do it themselves. In this case, we can provide a free estimate and a list of recommended products. For any gates you may need we will ask you to send pictures of the areas where you would like to have gates installed so that we can suggest an appropriate gate and cost to install. We would then schedule a day for installation. When we arrive we are happy to briefly walk through your home with you and make other safety recommendations. We come fully stocked with all types of gates and childproofing items and can usually install everything on the spot, even if the plan changes after we arrive!
In-Home Safety Evaluation
If you are looking for more detailed information, we also offer an in-home evaluation service. We will start by asking questions about your child's behavior and any special areas of concern you may have in your home. We'll walk through the entire home, looking for potential causes of injury, dangerous products and furniture, and pointing out other common household items that can be unsafe for children. We will also discuss fire and water safety and can even inspect your car seat installation! For any areas that the installation of a babyproofing product is recommended you will be provided with a custom price quote. The fee for this service is $175.00, and it generally takes about two hours.
Installation
Safe Nest Babyproofing can install any or all of the recommended items to make your home safer. By having Safe Nest install the items for you, you are assured of receiving only the highest-quality babyproofing products available.
